lol, I think he meant "Fall Break"..........I don't remember getting a fall break, of course I don't remember a lot of things. I just learn our girls are on Fall Break the week of Dr D's planned "Kentucky Riders" ride next month, seems they had other plans .....sure hope they don't miss me!

Change is most always good.....
They've made some new trails on the park at Evarts. I haven't rode them , but heard they were good. I"ve had some good times riding the park. There are some really good off park trails there also. I always park at the North Evarts campground...that's where all my buddies hang out
Windrock ...If you like gravel roads, then this is your place  ...I've spent my last money there....but that's just my opinon!
You can't go wrong with Evarts or Bell county...heck do em both the same weekend. Contact Jon Grace and he'll take you on the county to county ride

i hate gravel, that's why it's so hard to leave brimstone. we want trails, the hard stuff, all day long.
i wouldn't call our riding style a blood sport but you can tell we are there to let off some steam. you can only
do trail49 so many times.

i heard there is allot of gravel to ride outside of the evarts park but inside the park is all riding. is that not true?

i'll give Jon a call down in Bell and see if he can find us some trails to ride.

yes..i meant fall break.

drdirt..your fost is a little confusing. You said you liked evarts but you have spent your last dime there. Do you mean the trails are good but you don't like the town?

We was thinking of staying in the campground on the north side of the park.

Yes, the park is very nice. We camp at the north campground. They have a very nice shower house and restrooms there. We will be going on October 16-18th if you decide to go a few weeks later. There will be a fall ride sch that day. You can go on a free guided tour that will take you out of the park some 75-100 miles depending on where they decide to go that day. Both James White and his brother Jerry are the guides to ride with. They do the best guided tours bar none. I have ridden to Va and back with them and to Big Black Mountain which is the highest point in the state some 4132 ft above sea level. Hope you guys have a great trip, you will love harlan.

Jerry White has been hospitilized for the last 2 weeks. He has been in a coma for over a week. The DRs were stumped as to what was going on with him....they knew he had an infection in his brain...they have also been treating him for Rocky Mountain Spotted Fever. Jerry also had a brother, Ernie, that passed away last saturday in the same hospital . This family has been devasted for the last couple weeks. I'm just putting this info out there so you guys can have time to find you someone else to guide you.

looks like the speed racers and myself are going back to brimstone. we will be there friday/sat and staying behind the
jail house again. cheap and easy, that's how we like it. most people don't like to ride with us but we are tons of fun to camp with. :D
